I originated this recipe as a muscle rub, since gardening all day leaves me feeling a bit sore at times.
However since making this with my homegrown spearmint, people have been writing about how they use it as an alternative to medicated vapor rubs, on their temples for aromatherapy, and even as a hair cream for dry/brittle hair.No matter what you’re using it for, the smell is divine and balances really well. Very light on the patchouli, so for those who are not fans…don’t worry. The overall smell is spicy and cool. More of spearmint and clove than anything else.
Spearmint is shown to increase circulation, relax nerves, calm muscle spasms, and treat common respiratory problems.
Hibiscus also stimulates, increasing circulation, and the
Patchouli help to balance the coolness of the spearmint with some warming elements.
